Google maps is a great way to add events, businesses and properties onto a map. We are currently working on building an integrated module that can allow different "pins" be placed on the map according to the location you click on and then complete the details for that spot. You can filter the items to be displayed on the map in many ways, we have added drop downs and radio buttons:

When adding a new item, you can click anywhere on the map and a pin is placed in the area, with a balloon displaying the coordinates which will be saved for your new item:

Recently we have made contact with two companies in Turkey that is interested in seeing what Kastim is all about, so we heading out there to test the water. We will be spending two weeks in Izmir, Turkey, presenting our services and solutions and who knows, we might just start widening our service delivery.

At the same time, we will visit the country side and being the opposite season there, the weather should be warmer there than in Cape Town, so the sun and warmer water will be much appreciated.
